Report: US senators want help Europe diversify energy supplies

MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- U.S. Republican Senator Ron Johnson and Democrat Senator Chris Murphy have submitted a bill envisaging allocation of U.S. $1 billion to finance Europe’s energy projects aimed at diversifying energy supplies, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.

The projects will help Europe resist Russia’s influence, the agency said.
